Is there maybe a better driver for the new MacBook trackpad under windows seven.or do I even have maybe a wrong driver onboard? I know in other machines you can set a function that it's regonized if you put your finger on a trackpad or it's your palm whilst your writing, or the trackpad disables itself when the keyboard is used. There are only the pure standard driver settings available in the control.Ĭan anybody tell me if there is a solution? Actuallly I like this touch to click, it's working very well when I use the trackpad. I thought to take the touch to click function off but I can't even find the setting in the windows control panel. Very often when I write I touch the trackpad with the palm of one hand and this results in actions like my text is continued in another line or suddenly whole paragraphs are highlighted or any other odd behaviour. But I have a problem with this touch to click function. I reduced the scrolling down speed so the scrolling with two fingers is quiet alright now. Just the trackpad is not running very smooth. I am really pleased how smooth the installation went and everything so far works as it was on my old windows mashine. I am running Windows 7 in bootcamp on my 13 inch MBP 2011.
